Jiejing History
From 1968 to January 1969, in order to ease the shortage of iodine for national defense, the state allocated funds to build a chemical workshop in Rizhao, and began to produce iodine, mannitol, and sodium alginate in small quantities.
From March 1991 to August 1992, when the domestic seaweed processing industry made reformed one after another, it carried out relocation and reconstruction, expanded the major workshops of sodium alginate, and built a new company office building.
In December 1994, obtained the right to import and export.
In November 1995, it passed the ISO9002 quality assurance system certification, becoming the first enterprise in the same industry in the country to obtain the certification.
In April 1997, through further standardization of the enterprise, it was renamed as Shandong Jiejing Group Corporation, and confirmed by the Provincial Economic Reform Commission.
In April 1998, it was listed as 136 provincial key enterprise groups by the provincial government.
In June 2001, passed the ISO14001 environmental management system certification. After passing the ISO9002 quality management system certification, it once again became the first company in the same industry in the country to obtain the certification.
From March 2007 to October 2008, the construction of "7,500 tons of sodium alginate and series of high-tech seaweed products" listed as "Double Hundred" projects (key construction projects in Rizhao City and key construction projects in Shandong Province) was completed.
From May 2012 to May 2013, the construction of the "2,500ton food grade sodium alginate preparation industrialization project" was completed.
Since 2014, the industry-leading propylene glycol alginate, fucoxanthin and high grade sodium alginate workshops that can use different brown seaweed have been built successively, laying a solid foundation for accelerating the implementation of innovation planning and promoting the transformation and sustainable development strategy.
On March 4, 2017, Qi Jiabin, secretary of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee, met with well-known domestic and foreign marine talent experts who were invited to attend the Jiejing Group's Ocean Health Industry Technology Forum.
On August 8, 2019, the company's printing and dyeing grade sodium alginate passed the Eco-Passport certification for the first time. What the Eco-Passport certificate brings to dyestuffs and auxiliaries manufacturers is the international authoritative recognition of the ecological safety performance of chemicals, and it is the guarantee and value transfer of the ecological safety performance of downstream printing and dyeing enterprises.
On February 2, 2020, Jiejing donated more than 600,000 yuan worth of fucoidan supplement, which can improve immunity and anti-virus, to the Charity Federation of Rizhao Economic and Technological Development Zone.
On July 20, 2020, the Shandong Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce issued the "Announcement on the Publicity of the Top 10 Private Enterprises in the "Top Ten Industries" in Shandong Province in 2020", and Jiejing was included in the list of the top 10 private enterprises in the marine industry in Shandong Province.
On July 26, 2020, the STS regional key project "Integration and Demonstration of Alginate Clean Production Technology" jointly undertaken by the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Jiejing passed the project acceptance. Jiejing insists on in-depth cooperation between industry, university and research institutes, empowers traditional production processes to improve quality and efficiency, and has achieved good results in the development of modern marine industries.
On December 11, 2020, Jiejing participated in the third meeting of the seventh council of the China Algae Industry Association. The meeting announced the group standard of "Fucoxanthin Brown Algae Extract". Jiejing was the first drafter of the standard and initiated the application for project approval.
On January 23, 2021, Shandong Provincial Soil and Fertilizer General Station organized experts to conduct an on-site assessment of our company's organic water-soluble fertilizer project and passed the on-site acceptance.
On April 1, 2021, the national textile industry standard "Sodium Alginate for Fiber" (FZ/T51018-2020) was officially implemented. As the second drafting unit, Jiejing participated in the whole process to draft the enterprise standard, association group standard and industry standard.
On October 13, 2021, Jiejing participated in the 6th ICAB 2021 International Conference on Agricultural Biostimulants (Wuhan), and Jiejing won the ICAB China Biostimulant Top Ten Raw Material Brand Award.
On November 11, 2021, the project "Efficient Preparation of Seaweed Fertilizer and Precisely Formulated Fertilization Technology for Tea Trees" selected by Shandong Jiejing won the second prize of the Shandong Provincial Marine Science and Technology Innovation Award.
On December 20, 2021, "Jiejing" sodium alginate was rated as a well-known brand in Shandong.
In mid-November 2022, the safety production information management system constructed by Jiejing Group based on the actual experience of enterprise safety production management was officially put into use. The system strengthens the monitoring and early warning of key production points, and realizes the intelligentization and informatization transformation and upgrading of safety production management.
On November 26, 2022, after the preliminary declaration and the evaluation and audit by a third-party evaluation agency, Jiejing Group obtained the AAA-level standardized good conduct certificate.
